Portos strongly rejects the allegations made against it by the Czech Pirate Party.
We categorically deny any suggestion that the content of the audit report could have been influenced in exchange for any form of consideration. Such accusations are serious and unfounded and we will pursue all legal avenues to defend ourselves.
The final version of the audit report on the digitalisation of building permit proceedings was submitted on 9 May 2025, after comments from the Ministry of Regional Development had been incorporated. Following this date, no alterations, even from a technical perspective, could be made to the final version of the document.
At the Pirate Party’s request, we agreed on 14 May, i.e. after the audit had been completed, to meet their representative. Until then, we had declined all interaction precisely to protect the impartiality and integrity of the process. Ultimately, the meeting did not take place, and, to date, no materials have been presented that contradict the audit’s findings.
Representatives of the Pirate Party, including former minister Ivan Bartoš, have repeatedly cast doubt on the audit’s conclusions. We view these attacks as part of a political campaign intended to divert attention from their own responsibility in the matter.
