Markéta Flanderkova (Šlejharová) joined our firm in 2015. From the very beginning of her career, she has been primarily involved in wealth management and litigation. Markéta was admitted to the bar in 2016 and has been managing a legal team focusing on corporate matters, restructurings and corporate criminal liability since 2017. In the past few years, she has also progressed to the position of expert consultant in the field of trusts. She is a graduate of Masaryk University in Brno, where she obtained her Ph.D. and where she currently teaches. She specialises in civil procedure in which rights and obligations are declared by a court, as opposed to enforcement procedure, and her dissertation deals with the distinction between contentious and non-contentious civil procedure. She regularly contributes to journals and speaks at conferences.
